Safari Lodges     African safari vacation lodges are luxurious and typically constructed of stone and cedar wood. Each room has its own entrance with private facilities with plenty of hot water, netting over the beds, overhead fans, sitting area and screened windows. The Lodges are surrounded with lovely gardens, where in the evenings cocktails are served around an open fire before dinner for those who like to partake. In some lodges breakfast and dinners are served in open-air dining rooms, and most have gift shops selling local arts and crafts. They have mahogany furniture (closets and writing desks) and are set up on stilts above the ground with private views of the gardens and beyond.
