Prices vary according to the season, the length of the safari and the type of accommodations. A standard 8 day Kenya safari, with comfortable accommodations and private facilities, very comprehensive game viewing and visits to 3 major national parks, starts at about $1200 per person in low season not including air transportation. If you are coming from New York the price would be approximately $2500 per person.
An upscale 16 day safari, with deluxe accommodations, very comprehensive game viewing with visits to both Kenya and Tanzania, including light aircraft flights between the parks, will cost approximately $8000 per person in high season, and if you are coming from New York the price would be approximately $9700 per person.
